Peter's career spans over 20 years in the insurance industry. He has a background in education and transferred his teaching skills to help New Zealanders become financially confident when he joined the industry in 1987. Peter co-founded the successful Wellington advice company Cameron Chote in 1995.
Peter is a Chartered Life Underwriter. He is a current member of MDRT Oceania, and is past chair of MDRT Oceania, MDRT NZ, and ex-President of the AXA Advisers Association.
Peter's married with four children, and is a football nut - he is Club chairman of the Miramar Rangers AFC, and gets his kicks from Chelsea.
